Resume is called the self-promotion text which is demonstrating or documenting the life, talents and business capabilities of a person that is requested with a special purpose by any institution or organization in the event that a person applies for job to that organization / institution.
The resume is requested by individuals or institutions who are in the position of employer in order to obtain preliminary information about the candidates usually during a job application. Even it is rare, from time to time it is also requested in order to use it in web pages or catalogues that are prepared for the promotion of the staff working in that organization.
Although there are some differences in the requested information depending on the nature of the work, information such as credentials, personal information, educational background, and work experience needs to be included in the resume regardless of the nature of the work.
Some institutions / organizations may use preprinted forms which include the information they want to know. In institutions where preprinted forms are not used, you need to mention the particular information that is required while preparing your resume. The presentation format of the information is as important as the information you submit.
